- Our outage map is showing 12,000+ outages this morning scattered across our service area.
- Crews began work at 5:30 this morning. We have over 500 crew members working to restore service to our members.
- CoastConnect currently has 3,800 outages. Fiber crews are out restoring service this morning.
- Business offices in Picayune will remain closed today. Offices in Poplarville, Kiln, Bay St. Louis, Gulfport and Biloxi are open for regular business hours. The call center is open and assisting members.

How to Report Outages:
- Visit www.coastelectric.coop and click “Report/View Outage.”
- Text “Join” to 228-338-4644 if you have a mobile number associated with your account. If you’ve already joined, text “Outage” to report an outage. Take time now to log in to your account to make sure we have your up-to-date information. To use our outage texting system, you must have a mobile number associated with your account.
- Download our CE on the Go mobile app.
- Call 877-769-2372. We typically experience high call volume during a major outage, so we recommend one of the above methods to get your information directly to our outage management system in seconds, rather than waiting on hold.
Remember, we cannot take outage reports on social media. Our social media outlets are not tied to our outage management system so dispatchers can’t see your report or assign a crew to restore your power.
