Coast Electric is inviting artists in kindergarten through 12th grades in Hancock, Harrison and Pearl River counties to enter our “Show Love to Mother Earth” art contest. Winners will be selected in the following categories:
- Lilypads: Ages 5-7
- Tadpoles: Ages 8-13
- Bullfrogs: Ages 14-18
A winner will be selected from each of the categories listed in each county. Lilypads could win a $25 gift card. Tadpoles could win a $50 gift card. Bullfrogs could win a $75 gift card. Artwork will be displayed in Coast Electric offices.
RULES:
- Contest entries will be accepted March 18-April 22.
- Artwork must be original and completed solely by the student.
- Artwork must include the name and age of the student and the phone number of the student’s parent or guardian.
- Artwork must be earth/nature related in honor of Earth Day. Examples: bees, flowers, trees, the earth, animals, ocean, etc.
- Artists may use markers, crayons, colored pencils, watercolors, canvas, paper, acrylic, clay, etc. Use your imagination to make your art come alive!
- Parents may scan artwork and email it to: [email protected] OR drop it off in person at any Coast Electric office.
- All entries must be submitted on or before Monday, April 22. No late entries will be accepted.
- One entry per student.
- Winners must be available for a photo opportunity and must pick up their gift cards at a local Coast Electric office.
- Winners will be notified by April 29.
